Searching for Assets
You can use the search bar to conduct 2 kinds of searches:

1. Click on the search bar on the home page or in the upper left on any other page. |

2. Enter a keyword, combination of keywords, category, brand, or product name/descriptionExamples: lip gloss, Nutrition, XS Energy, sports drink, lifestyle |

3. Choose a file type from the drop down.When you click on the search bar, you’ll notice you have the option to immediately narrow your search by selecting one or more file types. *You should note, logos and other illustration files are in the system as documents, not images. |

4. Use the local and shared feature to search for assets.“Local” will return assets from your active preferred location that you chose in the user menu .
“Shared” will return all digital assets that have been shared across regions.

5. Hit the search button. |
Advanced SearchAdvanced Search allows you to further refine your search using specific criteria. It includes the filtering features of Basic Search like Location and File Type, plus you can select from a number of asset tags or filter the results by a date range. |

1. Click the Advanced Search button on the homepage to get started |

2. Enter your search term |
|
3. Choose if you want to search keywords(default) or search the text within the documents as well. |
|
4. Choose your restriction if applicable.By default, BrandNext will search “All Assets”. You have the option to search only for restricted or unrestricted assets. |

5. Select the category tags to narrow your search.Click the arrow to the left of the category to expand the list. Select multiple tags by checking the boxes. |

6. Choose your dates if applicable.Option 1. Use the dropdown to select a specific option such as date created. Option 2. Select your date range. |
|
7. Click the CLEAR button to clear the form and start over.
*Selected search criteria will remain in effect until you clear them, so you may need to clear previous criteria before starting a new search. |

8. Hit the search button to perform the search. |
