Where to Manage Assets

Advanced users like CLCs and Admins  use a combination of these three tools to manage assets in the DAM.

  1. Touch View
  2. Classic View
  3. CRXde

Advanced users use a different BrandNext URL than general users and vendors. This will be provided by the local BrandNext IT department.

Page Overview

Touch View

This is the main BrandNext search and download area.  It is the view for basic users.
Advanced users like CLCs and Admins can manage most actions on assets through this view as well.

Classic View

The Classic view allows advanced users to:

  • manage folders
  • rerun workflows
  • manage tags and users
  • delete/edit IP rights.
To get to Classic View:
  1. From the BrandNext Landing Page, select “Switch to Classic” under the user avatar in the upper right corner. This will take you to the “AEM Welcome Page.”
 2. Select Digital Assets from the menu on the left.
3. To go back to Touch View, click on the BrandNext logo button in the top green bar.

To go back to the AEM Welcome page click on the AEM ASSETS logo further left

CRXde

CRXde can perform tasks including:

  • hiding IP rights
  • unarchiving
  • editing collections thumbnails
  • deleting collections

To get to “CRXDE Lite:

  1.  Select “CRXDE Lite” from the AEM Welcome Page.

2. Getting out of the CRXDE Lite View is easy.

    Click on the lizard logo at the top left of the screen.
This takes you back to the AEM Welcome Page.
3. To get back to touch view from the AEM welcome page:

Click on BrandNext at the top of the list.
This will take you back to the BrandNext Landing Page in Touch View.
