Derivatives
Derivatives are Children of the asset (for example, a larger image with a portion cropped)
A derivative is created when a user downloads an asset, alters it, and uploads the new file to BrandNext with a different file name. It is then considered a derivative in the system. This will create a derivatives link above the metadata tabs in the asset detail page.
The “related assets” tab on the asset detail page will also show all of the altered (children) assets created from the original (parent) asset.
To manually add a derivative, you can link the parent to the child as described in the linking assets tutorial.
