BrandNext automatically generates jpg renditions for web, powerpoint, high resolution and large previews. InDesign files also create an idml rendition so that when users download InDesign files from BrandNext, they will automatically download the idml file that enables broader compatibility between versions.

Adding Special Renditions

Follow these Steps

You can do this in Touch View, on the asset detail page.

	1. Click the “add rendition” button
	2. Select the asset file to upload from your local files. Depending on the size of your file, you may receive a File Upload Progress Message Box. Keep in mind that the file’s size will also dictate how long it takes to upload your file.
	3. Confirm completion by clicking the done button. The custom rendition will show immediately in the list of renditions.

 

 

Deleting a Rendition

There may come a time when you uploaded a special rendition and decided that it’s not needed. Don’t worry, you can delete it.

You can do this in Classic View.

 

	1. Find the asset that has the rendition that you want to delete. You can use search or navigate directly to the folder.
	2. Double click on the asset to open the asset view. You can see that the renditions are listed on the right side of the screen. Find the rendition to be deleted.
	3. Click on the rendition to delete.
	4. Click delete at the bottom right corner of the window.
	5. Confirm the delete by clicking yes in the pop up. You can see the rendition is no longer showing.
