A collection is a group of assets that is displayed in the carousel to showcase “What’s New” in BrandNext. This could be a collection of assets from a major launch to a small campaign.

Collections stay in the What’s New Carousel until they are removed with the newest always on the left.

We recommend these are removed after 90 days.

Creating a Collection

This can be done easily in Touch View

	1. Click the CREATE COLLECTION button in Touch view. This will bring up the collections pop up screen.
	2. Enter a name for the collection. This is the name that will display on the main page across the image in the carousel. Limit 26 Characters
	3. Enter a description The description will also show on the carousel, right under the title. We recommend keeping this short so that it can completely show in the carousel. Limit 50 Characters
	4. Click on the image thumbnail to add an image for the What’s New Carousel.
	5. Choose an image by drilling down. You will need to scroll down a little to find the folder structure. It is in a slightly darker grey box then, drill down through the folder structure to get to the image for the collection.
	6. Click Submit

Adding Assets to a Collection

Adding assets to your collection is easy and can be done in Touch View

	1. Search BrandNext for assets Begin by searching for the assets you would like to add. Keep in mind that if you just uploaded assets, you can use a simple search using the star then sort ascending by date loaded or use advanced search and enter a date loaded range in the far right.
	2. Select asset(s) to go into the collection. Select your assets by clicking on the select check box on the asset cards.
	3. Click Add to Collection button. This will bring you to the collections page.
	4. Scroll to find the collection that you want to add the assets to. Navigate to the collection that the assets are going to be added to and select it by clicking on it. When selected it will show a checkbox icon on it and be highlighted.
	5. Click Add in the upper right of the header bar. A pop-up will come up to show the assets were added successfully.
	6. Click done
To confirm the assets have been added, go back to the homepage by clicking on the BrandNext logo, select the collection in the What’s new carousel, and verify the assets are showing.

Removing assets from a Collection

You also have the ability to remove assets from a collection right in Touch view.

	1. Browse through the collections in the carousel to find the one with the asset that you want to delete.
	2. Find the asset that will be removed.
	3. Hit the grey Remove button
	4. Click the red REMOVE button. A confirmation pop-up will be displayed.
	After refreshing the screen, you will notice the asset(s) is no longer in the results.

Changing the Collection Thumbnail

Use CRXDE to make this change

	1. Go to CRXDE Lite
	2. Click on Content→Dam→Collections Use the left navigation to click on Content
	3. Select the collection that will need the thumbnail changed Expand the collection and expand sling:members.
	4. Find the asset you want as your thumbnail in the list
	5. Drag it to the top of your list of assets under “sling:members” The thumbnail is always the asset shown at the top of the sling:members list.
	6. Click “save all”This is located in the light blue bar at the top Now go back and check your thumbnail in the What’s New carousel.
Click on the blue lizard to go back to the AEM welcome page, then click on BrandNext. The collection will be showing the new thumbnail.

Deleting a Collection

	1. Go to CRXde Lite
	2. Click on Content–>DAM–>Collections
	3. Right click on the collection you want to delete.This will bring up the menu options.
	4. Select Delete.
	5. Click Save All Make sure that this is deleted in the What’s New Carousel on the touch view home page.
