Hiding Tags

When sharing an instance with another market, they may have local folder tags that are not applicable to your market. If this is the case, there is an option to hide them. It helps reduce clutter for your users.

Please be sure you always UNHIDE a tag before deleting one or you will break advanced search.

The tags that you create should be consistent across instances, and will affect shared search filtering so please consult with the Corporate BrandNext Team before creating or deleting any tags.

Follow these steps

Use Classic View to complete this task.
 1. Click on the tools button at the top of the page

This is the button with the gears on it.
2. Click BrandNext in the left navigation
3. Drill down to –>configuration–>advancedsearch
4.  Double click TagConfiguration.

A new window will open to show Advanced Search Admin Configuration screen.
5. Scroll down to the market that includes the tags to be hidden.
6. Click edit under the market name.

A pop up will open.
7. Enter the rule Type “DO NOT show these tags”
You could also choose to “SHOW ONLY these tags”, if you prefer to manage them that way.
8. Select the tags that you want hidden (or shown based on your selection in the rule type).
9. Click ok when you are finished.

When you close the pop up, the main screen will show the hidden tags you selected.
10. Go to your touch view and click advanced search to be make sure the tags are not showing. You can do this by checking the Advanced Search screen.
